MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) reported on Thursday (February 11) that they’ve confiscated 90 items of large clam shells in El Nido, Palawan, after receiving a tip from a involved citizen.

PCG deploys K9 groups to help in rescue operations at Cebu mining pit

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) has deployed K9 groups to help within the rescue operations in Toledo Metropolis, Cebu after a mining pit collapsed.
Commander of the Coast Guard K9 Pressure Commodore Nelson Torre initially dispatched one K9 staff that focuses on search and rescue (SAR) operations. The staff was composed of 4 personnel and two working canine.
